Africa, as it was meant to be
Exclusive, ethical, and unforgettable experiences with the Lamprecht family.
Hunters Namibia Safaris was founded in 1984 by Joof and Marina Lamprecht and remains family-owned and personally managed to this day.
As fourteenth generation Africans, the Lamprecht family has dedicated their lives to this land, its wildlife, and its people. Over the past four decades, we have earned an international reputation as Namibia’s premier plains game safari destination, defined by exclusivity, authenticity, and uncompromising ethical standards.
At the heart of our operation lies a deep commitment to conservation and community. The Lamprecht family are passionate advocates for fair-chase, ethical hunting as a cornerstone of successful wildlife conservation, and we work closely with Namibia’s government and conservation bodies to ensure the sustainable future of our country’s natural heritage.
Every guest who visits becomes part of this story of stewardship, tradition, and timeless African hospitality.
Where in Namibia is Hunters Namibia Safaris based?
We’re on Rooikraal, an 80-square-mile property in the Camelthorn Kalahari, 45 minutes from Hosea Kutako International Airport — and a little over an hour from Windhoek itself. The area is malaria-free, easy to reach, and rich in plains game.
