Dear Hanns-Louis, Rachelle, Hannah, and Laylah, we cannot thank you and the HNS staff enough for your wonderful hospitality. We leave today with hearts full of your friendship, and bellies full of Henock’s cooking. Your home at Rooikraal feels like our home away from home in Namibia, and we cannot wait to return. Tressie and Andrew will dearly miss sweet Hannah and Laylah.

We appreciate the warmth and love you showed our little Flora. You both, Poppy, Tina, Nadia, and Lajha, were so kind and patient with our little family. We will remember all their kindness. It was an honour to hunt with Johnny and Tulonga. They are incredible hunters, trackers, and naturalists, and we learned so much from them. The children loved Pumbas, Social Weaver’s Nests, and the ‘Bear Burrows’, all the beautiful game, and the land cruisers full of trophies that return daily. As I leave, my mind will dance with gleaming kudu horns on the mountains, and streaming trails of oryx and wildebeest racing across the plains. We will miss the fire-lit dinners, warm conversation, and Hennock’s cooking. We will miss your cloudless skies and glowing sunsets. Above all, we will miss the company of all the Lamprecht’s and staff. We look forward to many more memories with your family.
